So this is the full illustration of the graphic on the back of Isaac's Jacket- I got way too deep in the sauce and now my hips have given out before I could post the mock up but MAN am I happy with this. The version on Isaac's Jacket is more blue than the purple here, these colors are for ME

An Unkindness is still a project close to my heart, but being a comic I let it go for a long time as I really struggled with devastating burn out. I want to bring it to life, and I'm not as happy as I could be with the drawings I've done lately but I'm getting to know them again and I'm hopeful.

Though I might consider it more a possibility that this was a figure Ralph's father might have encountered. Magic was more alive then.

You can see a little sketch of Ralph Crow laid out in front of an approaching Manticore. The Manticore King is drawn in the same design language as An Unkindness too, but I don't think they could be of the same universe. I want to put Ralph in every mideval fantasy concept I imagine if though.

I realized I don't think I ever posted this? I had a lot of fun with this concept, a Manticore that pretends to be a King. He sits draped in cloaks and robes that hide what's just behind the throne waiting to strike.
