Dems should go with the more memetic candidate and accept a small amount of risk for doing so.

Platner is not just a guy that codes in the way you suggest. He’s clearly a very good communicator in his own right. People with these skills have huge upside potential for the politics you advocate

Completely agree on the different communication style. It comes back to needing to understand how to wield controversy to the advantage of your party. If you can’t do that at all you’re going to lose the online sphere to those who can and they will shift voter perceptions
