Who’s excited for Ranked Choice Voting in DC’s June primary? Our current system is the absolute worst. We need electoral reform desperately in order to move away from the polarized two-party system that eventually leads to one-party rule. This is a small step in the right direction.

Just incredible how GOP talk about Democrats finally adopting GOP hardball tactics. It would be absolutely astonishing if we weren’t so used to their gaslighting, but it still amazes and appalls me.

Okay, I think I’m better off producing zines than consuming them! I was excited about all this from the DC Zine Fest. But after getting home and actually reading some of these, I’m like why is there so little information in each one? Why are they using random graphics? Is this story written by AI?

"Facebook executives have tolerated the promotion on their platform of propaganda, terrorist recruitment, and genocide. They point to democratic virtues like free speech to defend themselves, while dismantling democracy itself."

I know it's a process to get there. But how do we get there? FreeDC has people making noise every night, but only for 5 minutes and our populace is more spread out than in many European cities. I guess it's preparation for something bigger. #protests#protest#france#usa#democracy

Reading this book talking about how permit fees are one of many ways “democratic” governments/police have curtailed the rights to free speech and peaceful assembly.
