Closed another negative cognition in therapy today through EMDR. After losing, essentially, all my queer friends this year and feeling like I’m lost and not welcomed in the community, it’s nice to feel like I’m accomplishing something.

Even during Pride Month, I often feel disconnected from the queer community. Being in a heteronormative-appearing relationship, having kids, and being demisexual all have its challenges with “fitting in” with the community. Most people think I’m DL or cheating. People get mad I don’t do hook ups.
