Great ending to my mini vacay! First East Coast In N Out Burger. This, besides the weather and the beaches, was the main thing that I miss about living in Los Angeles. Now it’s 10 minutes away from the 615 place.

On July 2001, Billy Corgan performed a cover of Bob Dylan's "Forever Young" on the final episode of Bozo the Clown's WGN show in Chicago. It seems like it's damn near been scrubbed from the Internet. If you have a copy or see it, holla at a brother. That's all.

TBP from last year: The Nirvana exhibit at MoPop in Seattle. After 14 years, the exhibit is being closed this weekend . You all know what a music junkie I am. Glad I got a chance to see it.

Deep Sea Driver was awesome! Felt more alive than I have in a while. Jessica was amazing. Great show! See those cats if you get a chance!

Eight years ago today, we lost Chris Cornell. I remember seeing Soundgarden at Lakewood Amphitheater back in the day in Atlanta. One of the most memorable parts of their set was Cornell doing a cover of Body Count's "Cop Killer". He'll always be part of the soundtrack to happier days.

Finally got the statue of the Space Needle that wasn’t available when I was on Broad Street last October in the mail today. Something in my gut lately has been drawing me to head to Seattle, at the very least for a good four day weekend. It’s a very laid back city.

In celebration of World Press Freedom day tomorrow, R.E.M is releasing a remix of "Radio Free Europe" and a couple of other songs. This EP is meant to raise money for the actual Radio Free Europe, no thanks to the orange bastard in the White House cutting funding for public broadcasting.

Got my 2025 sticker today. Love KEXP. We need more independent, listener funded radio stations out there. No corporate yahoos telling people what to play. DJs are people who love music. I gladly donate to this radio station regularly.

The most compelling people are in the women's division on AEW Wednesday nights. The most compelling individual on the whole show is Harley Cameron. Funny, singer, guitarist, ventriloquist. She's slowly becoming the total package. She's the shining light on a show where uniqueness is in scarcity.
