I FINISHED MY FIRST SEW PROJECT! I hand sewed a pillowcase for a small pillow that doesn’t have replacements that are easily acquired! I’m seriously so proud of it.

They’ve made crocheting much more enjoyable for me. I bet that’ll help a lot. There are different types of stitch markers too, not just the ones that are in this picture. I also have these split ring stitch markers that I like using on days when I’m zooming through projects.

Sometimes I dump out my entire box of stitch markers and mix them up when I have the itch to sort and organize things.

Sooo I decided to design a biomechanical crochet piece. This lead to me deciding to make it a full art piece to go along with the crochet piece. I’m about to learn a whooooole lot of things and already am as you can see in the WIP photos. Here’s to 2025 and experimentation. 🧶

So I’ve been working through recreating a lot of my old traditional art pieces as digital art. This is the one that I decided on this time as my for fun creative piece. The WIP with the original watercolor traditional piece in the bottom left corner. I’m pretty proud of it so far.

I’m getting closer to refining and finishing my coffin bag pattern but I am STRUGGLING. How the heck do you explain something that you don’t know how to put into words that make sense without seeing an image? 🤣
This is one of the most challenging things I’ve done for crochet projects. 🫠

I think I meant table. I forget crochet has specific vocabulary because still fairly new to crocheting. 🤣
But basically something like this where it’s off to the side with some space next to it to mark off the rows too or something like that. I’m beginning to think I’m overthinking this. 🤣

Maybe chart is the wrong word in this context. Table? Picture for ref. But something like this, maybe even with a bit of space to mark which rows you’ve done off to the side? Hopefully that makes sense. 🤣

making progressss. I frogged the top part of this so many times today. I’m using stitch markers to mark my rows so I can count them correctly and I’m remembering to write everything down this tiiime! I’m proud of myself.

Yesterday was my 1 year crochetiversary so I went and found all the pictures of my finished projects that I could find and took pics of the ones I still have in my possession and made a collage! I didn’t realize how much stuff I made. 😂🧶

These coffin shaped bags! I still have to make the strap for the slime one and sew the slime edges to the bag BUT I still absolutely love it.

I custom dyed this AFTER I crocheted and connected everything together with white cotton yarn. I would post a picture of me wearing it but it shows a LOT of boob. 😂

Making a crop top! I dyed each pentagon and square individually with dye from a tie dye kit and have now connected them together. I’m so glad I didnt abandon this project just because I didnt like how the dye job turned out. I learned a lot with this! I’m super excited to keep making things this way

Started experimenting with white cotton yarn and using dye from a tie dye kit to dye finished crochet pieces! I’m excited to see how this new adventure goes!

I wrote my own pattern for these cherries i made today on stream while I was making them free form so it only took me five hours and after writing three different patterns for three different sizes of the leaves i finally made them in the size i wanted and was able to connect everything together
