Ten years ago, we took on an allotment , we were lucky it wasn't overgrown just a blank canvas for our ideas.
Ten years later we now have adjoining plot and continue to enjoy the challenges allotmentering brings.

As the climbing green beans were dying back, decided to take them down this morning before the storms hit in afternoon.
Always sad to see them go sign summer is truly over. Oh well, at least the autumn and winter crops are doing fine .

Stafford rangers start their #FATrophy journey today against Boldermere. I hope it's a longer journey than the #FAcup was.

Rain has helped everything grow on the allotment. Picked peas this morning to have with the potatoes harvested earlier in the week.
Unfortunately, the pigeons are enjoying the peas as well 😕

A little cooler today at the allotment, which made planting sweetcorn easier. 30 plants in and well watered. ( fingers crossed for rain this week). It's one of my favourites , hopefully, will be able to fill the freezer come September.
