Oh I wish she could become a main character once again! Or at least that she could appear in the next RE game. She hasn't been in any main plots since forever.

Yeah, it may seem that way, but you'd be surprised how popular she is among the younger fans to the point Capcom had to include her in two movies. They make decisions based on numbers so I'm pretty sure her popularity had to do with it.
