I did streams and stuff but now just spending time trying to be happy. Also a 90's metalhead, an actual moron, FFXIV manbun and former pretzel.
(May post mature content on occasion 🔞)

Current project: None...for now.
So yeah, I'm back into full swing again and maybe be a little more active here (no promises though) and start working on projects I WANT to do rather than need to

Also for the US peeps, o7 on whatever the pre-order price for the Switch 2 will be for ya's.

Just feels like gaming is more of a richie's hobby or financial statement like it's a Balenciaga trash bag. Fuck this shit heap [insert famous Australian associated word here].

I enjoy seeing the internals of current consoles and such because I have been fortunate enough to grow up in a household that had that stuff back in the early 2000's. Now it feels like I have to sell my fingernails just to get close to it. It sucks having a hobby that tries gouge you out literally.

So, what's the point of bringing this up? Simple, I'm just ranting and raving like a lunatic because that pricing sucks major nuts and private parts. My main hobby is LITERALLY to tinker around with old consoles and tech and try to revitalise them to get reuse whether it's for myself or friends.

Now with PS jacking the prices up for EU, NZ and AUS, the prices for us is now $830 AUD and $950NZD for the standard physical and $860 NZD and $750 AUD for the digital console which was the original price for the physical version originally. That's one way to lose a market region somewhat fast.

As I'm sure you're aware, the Switch 2 is priced pretty high. To give the pricing in Australia, it is $699 AUD ($443 or $444 USD) which is not a small thing to scoff at or eye watering if you're like me. Switch 2 games at $80 USD is like $100 or $110 AUD depending on whatever Nintendo feels like.
