No. Don't give us one second more of your "no true scotsman". This is what Christianity is. Stop pretending you can't think of a Sunday school teacher who is/was a little too handsy. The church protects them, supports them, and gives them a room full of kids to supervise. I was a victim of that. 🖕

He did this in full view of everyone coming down. He did this to children while their parents watched. To wives while their husbands watched. And when he actually assaulted someone who went to him for advice, I was forbidden to go and voice my complaints. I was 14, my sister was 10. 2/2

This right here. My sister and I used to run out the back of the church, in the snow without jackets to avoid the pastor who gave all women and little girls extra long, groping hugs. He stood outside the cloak room and you couldn't slip by. He shook the hands of the men and boys of course. 🤮 1/
