So with that, I won't give a scoring system. I'll only say if I would continue the series from where I am with it. And I can say I would like to see where this party goes and what they do next. It was a good listen to during my shift.

Finally, I really like that it doesn't linger too much on how the progression system works. It gives us enough to work with and makes it clear it's not the focus of the story. It's very clear it's based on Dungeon and Dragon's system so if you know what each class does, you'll be fine.

A joke or two caused me to chuckle as the plot was straightforward. I did like getting to see the parties viewpoints in situations.

What I didn't like were the poo jokes but I tend to frown towards most sophomore jokes. It doesn't take away from the story thankfully.

So let's talk about Fifth Era Apocalypse:One Bad Roll before I leave for shift. The book has an interesting premise yet it's clear it's trying to be a parody and make fun of all the fantasy and tabletop rpg tropes. It knows what it is and doesn't apologize for it.

Honestly if they make the Steam OS public I'll jump on that in a heartbeat. Though it does remind me to look into Linux sometime within the next three years.

Furry or cryptid-ish

They're beyond our understanding and no one really knows how old they are or where they even came from. They just either always been there or just are now. It's best not to be nosy or try to figure them out and consider them like a passing snowstorm.

Of course it being furry too is the key.
