The Bellingham Public School has created a fund during this time of mass deportations to ensure that kids have a trusted adult to go home to, basic needs can be met, etc. Note: this fund does not help with legal fees or lawyers.

Bellingham Public School Foundation donation page. The text reads as follows: The family support fund exists to provide families with basic needs in the face of an emergency. Every dollar donated to the family support fund is used directly by the Bellingham School District Family Engagement team to provide things like food, clothing, medication, transportation and rent and utility support for families facing incredible challenges. Recently you have probably read about immigrants in our community being detained. What doesnt always make the news are the children left behind who are suddenly left without a parent and provider. These kids need immediate and ongoing support to make it through an impossible time in their life. Donations to this fund will be used to support these children, and others like them who don't make the news, now and for months to come. Please give generously to help these kids, and if you are able, consider a recurring gift to ensure they continue to get the help they need for the challenging weeks, months and years ahead.

finally made some progress #wip #art
digital drawing of cliffs at sunset. you are at the top of one of the cliffs with a small part of water that leads into a waterfall to the left and in front of you is an unfinished tree with master chiefs helmet at the base. further left is more water (river ish) that forks into 3 directions (to you, to another small waterfall facing you, and another waterfall facing the horizon which is in front of you). forward unto dawn (spaceship) is broken and crash at the base of a larger cliff. that larger cliff holds two waterfalls. One main one facing you and another smaller one further left and back. the cliffs overlook an unfinished forest and are met with an unfinished sunset. the colors are very vibrant pink, purples, and oranges with some patches of green for the shadows of grass.

tried my hand at drawing some tiny landscapes :D spent like 5 min on each just to try and get myself to draw something tn (but also to practice landscapes bc clearly i don't draw them often)
left: sunset landscape of many mountains (4 layers) highlighted by an orange glow from the sun. pink and purple sky right: attempt at drawing duck in a pond of water. it is very ashen gray with some bluer, lighter gray highlights to accentuate the ripples in the water. looks like the setting is from the winter months.
