Straight up game needed to be cooked more. and server structure needed to be planned out more cause their mega server isnt the best rn. As for the time gate tho, I havent really hit that barrier (cause work and OT T.T)

an attempt at pacing i suppose as msq gives a lot of exp. i believe time gating is a common practice in Asia (i remember genshin time gating quests too). I havent been bothered by it tbh cause i do the dungeons, world exploration, and just vibing with the guild.

Bandai namco is the original ip holder. They sold the ip rights to tencent who had Shanghai Bokura develop it. As for crunchyroll, idk how that happened but im assuming corpo shenanigans

Well time will tell tbh. Ill stay f2p as long as I can. It only the 2nd day out and at least the devs seem to be trying to fix things, patch is rolling out now...but yea seems to be first time dev working with existing assets for the most part

Honestly, u can legit play f2p. The gacha is cosmetics for the most part. The battle imagine gacha they do have, while very good, are not necessary

Im not surprised with the mobile aspect because (if I remember correctly) there is a significant number of mobile players in China.
Honestly China is the primary market. Everywhere else is secondary.
It f2p, so there is no risk to trying. Just know it will most likely follow Chinese standards.

But idk if bad server connection (or someone joining from a not supported region) is grounds for a negative review. Doesn't help that in the official discord I saw people actually planning a review bomb (cause no pvp which was known for YEARS)

Ive only played 15 and a bit of 14 so far. I also have 10 to play through atm so excited about that (once I finish a couple of my backlogged games)

My boss and I were talking about something similar about how Zoomers were spending fewer per week on games and I thought even with battle passes and gacha (which isn't counted apparently) people aren't buying games every week usually (I def hang with more casual gamers)
