Always wish talking & learning about finance was common and accessible and not hidden behind pay walls and signing up for financial advisors I can't afford. Financial literacy is for the poor and middle class too.

The billionaires and the corporations are taking all of the goodies. Keeping all the good things for themselves.

They are scooping out all of the big pieces -- licked their spoons clean.

They are mounding over their plates over and sneaking away.

Car needs an inspection for plate renewal.
Time to mechanic by car: 7min
Time by public transit: 36min
Time on foot: 46 minutes

We need better public transit.

Made a goddamn delicious gumbo yesterday. Girls (4&2) ask, "can we have some regular rice"? Disappointed, but not surprised. #seriouslythiswasoneofmybetteronestoo

Boo. States with legalized gambling have higher domestic violence, credit card default rates. It's lose-lose masquerading as choice or "tax", but the tax is a tax on profit... Someone is profiting, and it's not the gamblers. Ban gambling advertising, sponsorship in all capacities

Day 1 and I already hate daylight savings with every fiber of my being. Fuck whoever invented this system, it's the worst. I want sunlight after dinner.

Are you Team "Christmas starts after Halloween" or Team "Christmas starts after Thanksgiving"? I feel like there's only two real camps and they're quite polarized. #WeDontNeedMoreChristmasPleaseDontStartUntilAfterThanksgiving

Who pitched the idea of plastic loofahs as a good idea? Started using one in highschool because It Was Cool. (You know, Axe was a big deal.) Never really considered an alternative until deciding to switch to bar soap to be more sustainable. A good wash cloth feels so much better than plastic loofah!

Talking to my suburbian dad about the potential of buying a house. He suggested moving out to the suburbs. "With a riding lawnmower, it only took me 30min to mow my grass. And we're in walking distance of one park (literally nothing else)."

Hmmm. Nah.

Went camping this weekend, so watched the #allforcity game Sunday night. It was surprisingly good play from STL. Loved that even up 3-1 we continued to press high and not rely on the low block for 45. Critchlyball is way better for MLS.
