The US Federal Gov, or the individual states. But really any government can set up infrastructure so web sites can verify people's age and the people can remain private.

If the government does it correctly, there is no need to lose privacy when verifying age. But there is currently no infrastructure to do this and I'm doubious the government wants to protect people's privacy.

I've heard the arguments about electioneering but never about paid clergy at the local level. What are your thoughts about that?

While Klein was focused on the CRs, the "Hell yeah" by the original poster, in my opinion was filled with an emotion of joy that someone was calling the Ds out. To get them to do something. I just offered an admittedly cynical reason as to why. So no hijack, just voicing an explanation.

Lol. One vote and no strategy is not doing something. I like the insult to make up for actual arguments /sarcasm

The thing is they don't want to do anything. They hope he leaves office and a Democrat wins the next election so they can do the same things for their causes. When we complain they will say Trump did it so we can.

We don't need Big Tech doing age verification. We need states to provide a private way to verify age. And before people tell me that is not possible, it is possible. There just needs to be the will for the states to do it.

There are ways of doing online private and secure age verification that is as accurate as using physical ID cards. We don't need to settle for software that tries to look at you and determine your age while providing big tech additional information about you.

When in Christianity/Judaism did that story start being referred to as a story about homosexuality. When it was first written, it must have been correctly understood but then understanding changed. When did the common understanding change?

The state should only have Civil Unions and it can set whatever rules they want. Man and woman, same sex, whatever they need based on the will of the people. Marriage should be in the hands of religion and they can set whichever rules they need for their religion. Separation of church and state

There is a way for governments to provide private age verification, where a person can have their government verify their age, without the government knowing what site the person is using and the site never receives that person's name or other PII.

I wonder how Notebook LM would do converting the handwriting to print? I have a coworker who takes notes of meetings with paper and pen and then concerts the notes to print using Notebook LM.

the same thing happened to me at Lowe's. I got home and the box had the alarm on it. I cut it off and it started beeping so I dropped it into a bucket of water. It still beeped for about a minute. Lol.

Why doesn't another company start making affordable insulin? Maybe @mcuban.bsky.social could make it?

Clarification question, who all received the buy out offer? All fed employees? Everyone at specific departments? Anyone not pledging to support Trump on an insurrection?
