So I reported to work for my PT job driving folks to medical appointments at 6.15 this morning. All 4 canceled when I went to pick them up. Back home at 7.20 so even at 72, the idea of being able to fuck off for the rest of the day is satisfying 😀

I live in a rural mountain town in the western NC. Many folks here are on some form of government assistance. I know because my PT job is driving some to medical appointments. I’ll never understand why they vote for a party that consistently tries to take away the needed help they receive

I haven’t watch “the news” on any network since the election. I don’t plan to for the foreseeable future. Just don’t think that is the right approach in the long run, but that is where I am now.
