Well reading comprehension is clearly not among your skills. That is the exact opposite of what CI is doing. They educate citizens about how to effectively lobby their representatives in congress to pressure THEM to impeach. Guessing you might be a troll given this is abundantly clear.

Every single candidate who sends me a fundraising email or text gets a reply that says “What’s your position on impeachment? I’ll donate only when you pledge to pursue it.”

If more Americans did this we’d get them to take notice. Money talks!

A poll I saw from April found 20% of Republicans were in support of impeachment and I can only imagine that number has grown since then. Maybe not “widely popular” but if 20% of Rs in congress started talking about impeachment it would be a game changer. Problem is Dems aren’t even asking.

Note that impeachment is widely popular with Americans of both parties. If Dems chose to acknowledge bipartisan support among citizens they could build the same in congress. They haven’t even TRIED. Dems who don’t step up will be facing impeachment themed primary challenges, guaranteed.

Except that the dems are NOT acting anything remotely like a unified front! It only took 4 Rs to side with the Ds to create enough pressure to flip on Epstein. If Dems all went hard together on impeachment and actively lobbied Rs to join them it IS possible to achieve. I don’t give Ds a pass here.

Removal of this regime actually stops the whole cascading series of harms, including health care. Even if/when we win on the health care fight he’s just going to move on to the next way to harm us. I think it is smart to apply pressure at the root cause, not just today’s emergency.
