While crunchier there is room for scalability on “x and” or “x but” just with the difference between the dice. I would love to see the dice mechanic combined somehow with something like draw steel’s “no misses, no whiffed turns” mentality.

I thought Pedro Pascal did a good job humanizing Reed. And I like that they let Johnny be more than a daredevil risk taker. Even if he had to make heavy use of the flashback mechanic for the setup for his plan. :D

I have only run a couple test 1 shots but I like that this means you could reward non-magical higher tier gear and it will feel good. Of equip monsters with lower tier gear to prevent the loot and build an army of high tier equipped people.

We did this at work to train new trainers. It was a lot of fun showing how much they are just assuming the other person knows, and how that assumption could cause real problems. They were given the sandwiches they talked us through making.

Critical Role is one of those things where I find I am happiest not engaging with the community. Cant imagine what it is like when you are putting out art as part of your enjoyment. You are way braver than me!

His line on doing evil was literally “destroy the planet” and even then it was a very soft line. Especially when no one backed him up.

It is also mandatory watching to understand why the duel in Rebels is so good - and to me is the best lightsaber duel in the franchise.
