I love it so far, but if i had one quibble it's with its refusal to show, not tell. So far there's a relentless narration or in scene character explaining everything.

I've been trying to give it a fair shake too. Concur that it can generate reasonable looking code that consistently contains subtle to glaring errors. It slows ide intellisense, constantly reformats code with suggestions and has also started writing comments saying "TODO (interns name) should fix"

The term is slightly broader than 'technology masquerading as ai but actually teleoperated' (but there are plenty of examples of startups doing exactly that e.g outsideinsight.com/insights/ai-... ) - it encompasses for example Amazons Mechanical Turk, where human labor is obscured by digital facade
This "AI startup" is actually using human developers to build apps - Outside Insight
Artificial intelligence is now both a technology and a buzzword. Engineer.ai now joins the list of the companies falsely claiming of using AI in order to attract customers and investments.

This year I thought instead I'd make a game for the kids, working title "naughty list", in which they only get their presents irl if they murder enough elves. Rust+bevy. Repellent ideas welcomed.

Really rings true - wife is a gp and she is constantly struggling with heartbreaking long waiting times, services that just bounce her mh referrals back to solve in situ because of under resourcing, baffling decisions to replace experienced doctors with PAs, insane paperwork, terrible IT systems
