A #presepe of sorts depicting the destitute quarter of Avignone, Messina, before the devasting #earthquake of 1908. The 7.1 magnitude quake had its epicentre in the #Straits between the Sicilian city and Reggio Calabria. Devastation all around. A new bridge across the water anyone?

The very fine #Fendi "Hand in Hand" exhibition in their #Rome HQ. A celebration of the fashion house's famous Baguette handbag with custom versions made by artisans (maybe artists is the better term) from each of Italy's 20 regions. All displayed in a unique setting. Here are 4 which caught the eye.
