There's something special about this Etruscan female votive head with a tall headdress and beaded diadem. The closeup below shows *dozens* of fingerprints from the ancient potter, a man who was contemporaneous with Alexander the Great. 🤯 🏺 #ancientbluesky

Just imagine if this #FrockingFabulous 1890’s gown had statement sleeves though! The dress is decorated with beads in butterfly and ribbon motifs and was sold by New York store Stern Bros., which imported and copied Parisian fashions. #fashionhistory via the V&A.
