Ok I preordered it. This will probably be my travel controller so I can leave the pro at home.

3) only Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barca, and PSG can compete with the EPL in terms of resources and player talent. Players and coaches would rather be on the 15th best EPL team than the 6th best Serie A team.

I’m seeing a lot of similarities. There’s also no cap in European soccer
July 9, 2025 at 2:23 AM
Hmm let’s see:
1) the EPL is gaining more and more CL spots away from the other leagues. First ever league to have 6 teams in the CL.
2) EPL has more money than any other league. All the best coaches and players want to try and play there.

The problem with the cycles you’re hoping for is that Texas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska aren’t returning to the B12. Nor is USC & Oregon rejoining the PAC12. It’s a consolidation of the haves vs the have nots.
July 9, 2025 at 2:19 AM
Only 4 schools outside of the power 2 matter. None of those are in the B12. If you’re familiar with European soccer, look there for an example of what is most likely happening. You’re right things can change. But you’re delusional if you think any of this evens the playing field for schools like UCF
July 9, 2025 at 2:15 AM
Again, you’re the one with strong biases and refusing to believe what’s in front of us. Disagree all you want but here’s the facts.
1) there is a gap between the B1G/SEC and the rest. Money, influence, recruiting, etc. it’s where players want to be.
2) Parity is not returning. That ship has sailed.
July 9, 2025 at 2:10 AM
What media stage? The B12 is relegated to espn+. And if there is a salary cap, then again. Players chasing the bag at smaller schools will mean those schools can only afford very few players. The schools can’t afford for those players to be busts because of how much they overpaid. That’s the risk

What is Yormack going to add Notre Dame? There’s no move he can do to be relevant. The B12 has no brands. The only school with top 30 viewership this season was Colorado because of Deion. Players and coaches absolutely want to challenge themselves and prove it at the highest level.
July 9, 2025 at 1:40 AM
Ok let’s say it evens the field. There’s still a massive gasp that if the B1G/SEC vs the field. The best coaches and players will always jump at the opportunity to join a B1G/SEC school. UCF would have to massively overpay to commit higher end talent. That’s just risky for various reasons
