It's New Music Friday isn't meant for 40+, #Spotify. All it does is remind us that everything that is new is synthesised, and good music died in the 90s. Give me Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and the like.

Continuing in my recent line of “looking up” #photos, the Cathedrale Notre Dame de Strasbourg is impressive from a distance and imposing when only steps from the front entrance. Awe-inspiring, made even more so knowing it was built in the 13th century.

I'm realising that I might have a thing about taking #pictures looking up. It's a different perspective on things and frankly, it's a great way to get a picture with no one in it, even in the busiest of places.

Being a #Padres fan has me overly critical of the #Dodgers overwhelmingly large deferred contract liability. However unlikely, if the team defaults or cannot cover their commitments, it falls to the #MLB to cover and thus becomes a problem for baseball as a whole. Shouldn't there be limits?
