If there's only a small number of them they say that you can pull them out (that's how I transplant them).
But if they're trying to take over it might be more difficult (possibly using a garden hoe).

It depends (I think I read somewhere that a weed is any plant that's growing in a part of a garden where it's not wanted).
The ajugas can be handy for groundcover but it depends on what it's up to in the yard.
