Rick Veitch and I worked with HEAVY METAL art director John Workman, writer Allan Asherman, from the original shooting script of the movie, to complete the fully-painted/collaged graphic novel 1941: THE ILLUSTRATED STORY (1979)...

...and boy, did Steven Spielberg hate what we did. "The letter."

I know none of you watches CBS News Sunday Morning, but: they just had a story about the Mille Miglia race in which they showed footage from the Ferrari biopic of the deadly crash scene uncensored! Hey Boomers, here's a little bloody carnage with your breakfast! 🤣

if any mutuals see these posts & are confused: it's come to my attention that some people are blocking any account that seems suspiciously bot-like. Such as, say, an account that never posts anything. It wouldn't be the first time my introvertness got me in easily avoidable trouble.

hope that didn't come off as too snarky - people are on edge & I dont blame them. Almost everyone I follow is either a public figure (usually journalist) or a private citizen who built up a "brand" - it all started with the links pages on blogs. I loved blogs. I miss blogs.
