Documenting some plastic waste recycling efforts this morning.

Thankfully, he is alive despite being battered, seemingly tortured and robbed.

President Mahama has made his first ministerial nominations, all to sectors that embody some of our gravest crises. Much will be expected of them in this reset.

Four years ago today, I had a front-row seat to the chaos in Ghana's Parliament; a fitting prologue to a disastrous four years in governance. I could scarcely process the nonsense streaming through my viewfinder.

Legislators brawling, ballot snatching and the abominable incursion of the military.

Galamsey sends new year wishes. A water plant that feeds a major township in Western Ghana is being shut down.

I hope the people on the vanguard of the river ecocide show more anger this year. As at now, there is no indication that the incoming administration will stem the galamsey pollution tide.

As expected Mahama is full of gratitude to Ghanaians and his team for the overwhelming mandate which indicted the Akufo-Addo government.

He also revealed formal transition work with the Akufo-Addo administration begins in two days.

Oh, and Ghana is about to get its first-ever woman vice president after this election. Congrats Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.

But that shouldn't cover the fact we are likely to see a backslide in women's representation in Ghana's Parliament.

A comeback for John Mahama in the Ghana election is all but certain.

He's already thanking Ghanaians for returning his party to power.

How I feel about Ghana's sham democracy and our duopoly as the years go by.
