Found and got this baby up and running again. I have a bit of a smartwatch collection going at this point, but the Pebble Time will always be my favorite, no other one had software or interface quite this intuitive.

Thought a lot about the snake killing bit during the rest of the film. It’s an act of survivalist self defense (where Smoke establishes himself as “the protector”) but it also focuses on the bleeding suffering of the animal, which is cruelly killed simply for following its nature.

I think on some level, I thought Lynch’s death would never come. His art and persona was so potent, so distinct, that it just felt like he belonged to different universal laws than the rest of us.

Better Man stands shockingly far above 90% of musical biopics. On par with Eastwood’s Bird imo.

Gunn Superman looks cool in all the ways you’d expect that to look cool, but so gar I do wish he’d dropped his recent love for super wide angle medium shots for action. Looked off in GOTG3 and looks off here imo.

I love Waiting for Godot as much as I dislike most of its productions, and I quite enjoyed the Geffen run with Rainn Wilson and Aasif Mandvi. Appropriately sparse production and effective focus on its vaudeville elements.

I wish Ferrari wasn’t close to winning constructors, the double DNF will be way more painful this way.
