This is why I decided to move to Manga and Indie Comics for the sake of consistent storytelling and character development.

I already have a grudge against DC for butchering Dick Grayson's character in that garbage ass annual and how Marvel decided to create the One More Day storyline that ended up regressing Peter Parker all to make him "relatable" again which is so dumb.
