I finished The Day of the Jackal, and it was an excellent show. Unsurprisingly, a lot of the commentary about the Bianca character is hateful. It's a shame cause she was one of the best things about the show. She was a woman who put her job ahead of everything else, and she was great at it

The glee that people have for folks losing their jobs is shameful. 1000s of people are now unexpectedly unemployed and these ghouls are celebrating like they've won a championship. How is it a good thing that 1000s of families are now unclear of where their next paychecks are coming from?

I've been rewatching old network shows and you know what, i'm gonna say it, i miss 23 ep seasons. I do!! Let me sit with stuff, give me some filler eps, let me have eps that are just there to build character moments, i miss it!!
The Penguin is really good, I’m glad I watched it, but my god am I fucking over the eight episode miniseries format. Leads to writing problems and pacing problems every time.

I am of two minds about Star Trek: Lower Decks.
One one hand: I can't believe this show exists, I can't believe we got FIVE SEASONS of it, and we are so, so lucky to have had it because it just feels like it is too good to have actually happened.
On the other: I want a lot more than five seasons.
