People can post fanart of characters ripping the heads off other characters in loving, graphic detail all day but as soon as something becomes in any way sexualised panic sirens start going off. But again in the end it's lines drawn on paper/a screen. What is consent to lines?

There's lots of stuff I don't want to see but I still support it existing if it's between adults. The idea that fictional sexual things are something extremely dangerous but video game characters literally killing each other is de rigueur is kinda insane.

Growing up in the 80s-90s in Australia, I only ever saw a NES in person ONCE. I still haven't actually played a physical one. Everyone I knew had Master Systems and C64s and such though.

Ironically enough for your timing, coming soon-ish they announced they're going to do a thing for returning players that gradually and comfortably introduces them to the way the game works now lol

So the direction they've been going through with the past two expansions is having LOTS of small things to do which are interesting and give rewards. Delves were mentioned, but there's a mechanic where you can do a couple of things in a week and then get a big piece of gear at the end of the week.
