The change in the winters there is so upsetting. They have no where near the snow that they used to. And it's happened so quickly.

I still feel so terrible though about her having to go round scrounging up supplies! I can't imagine how that must have felt, especially when she must have been so tired. I'm glad she received help and support though. That was an update I was very happy to read.

I saw on FB this evening that the investigation has been dropped. It's believed to be an honest mistake. So happy to say that you were right!

You might be right. I don't know. I'm only quoting the post which said they were stolen. Also a care package was in their words, stolen, as well

I just read on FB that Jenny from Sage Mountain Sled Dogs had all her drop bags stolen at Kaltag. No volunteers watching them. #uglydogs

How do they track the speed? Is there something on the sled? Or is it a calculation based on the pace they are on?
