Yes. Not lactose, A1 casein protein. Europe has stricter regulations, allowing only A2 casein, less inflammatory. My cough markedly less severe. And I’m intimidated by specialist so I obeyed his orders!

I share your misery. An internal medicine specialist told me to avoid all dairy products because of A1 Casein, inflammatory substance from North American cows. I did and am still recovering from latest cold/cough/antibiotics!
