Maybe I can't recognize AI effects that easily and I'm suspicious of everything.

I don't know if the girl in blue represents prominent Dems in the Epstein files or people who are hesitant to expose them. I endorse it either way.

1990s kids remember Oprah getting sued for defamation of beef. This seems way more specific, plus it's going to cause suffering and death like many GOP policies.

But that still requires the kind of time and effort that people want to avoid when they choose to use AI.

I suspect they shot a few scenes and then used AI as sort of post production, prompting it to combine two shots or make an actor look up or down or angry. I'd be curious to see a breakdown of original shots, before and after. Once again, "Be Kind Rewind" shows the way to make fun no-budget stuff.

So was he funny at one point, then decided to outsource the work of being funny to other people?

Lol, this process takes actual humans and moves them back into the uncanny valley.

And why is it that grifting content creators never seem to get the right length? 44 minutes is not a feature film, and 29 pages is not a novel. If you're going to take ridiculous shortcuts, you should be able to fill 1.5 hours or 250 pages easily. But you don't wanna edit that much, do you?

I thought "health spending accounts" were the equivalent of the 401k shell game, but apparently Trump thinks there's an even bigger way to screw workers for the benefit of a few private companies.
November 12, 2025 at 12:22 AM
Seems akin to what they did with 401ks. Lure workers away from dependable pensions by giving them the illusion of having personal choice, in a system that's not dependable and is a massive handout to wall street. Who gets the handout in this shell game, I wonder.

Meanwhile, if you like the movies and you can compartmentalize a shit ton of racism & misogyny, read the novels. The movies were so different from the novels, they'll seem like new stories to you.

My library doesn't have it. :(
Yet.

"secret badass hardware store employee murdering random people with the stuff he sells"
I saw your reply before I saw the OP so I thought you were talking about Ash from Army of Darkness. But he was more of a big box store employee murdering specific monsters with the stuff he sells.
