From the Daily Turkic: Archaeologists in Türkiye believe they have discovered the tomb of Saint Nicholas, famously known as Santa Claus. Why do I sit like this when I eat? Does anyone else do this?
My chair is pushed way out from the table and I am sitting on the edge of it. I am wearing light wash jeans and a blue & white tie dyed shirt I made myself at my nephew’s bday party. My sock feet are tucked under the chair and crossed at the ankles.

Just some adorable, seasonable etymology for you...
[String convo, users cut off] User 1: I'm so upset. I just realized that the reason ghosts say Boo! is because it's a latin verb. They're literally saying 'I alarm/I am alarming/I do alarm!" I can't. User 2: present active boo, present infinitive boare, perfect activ boavi, supine boatum. User 3: [inserts burry image of a dictionary entry confirming assertions of user 2.] Verb. [cited etymology] 1. (intransitive) I cry aloud, below, roar; bray. 2. (transitive) I call loudly upon, bellow, cry or roar forth. User 4: if it comes from the latin word, they're actually saying "I'M YELLING!" which is even cuter User 5: do they speak latin because it's a dead language
