I lost power today, so I decided to organize the closet of "old boxes." I found this relic from the ages past.

Some amazing fiberous malachite direct from the mines of the Congo. I am always amazed by the way it catches the light. I'll be mounting this and some other fiberous malachite specimens we picked up at the Tuscon gem and mineral show for Briar and Bone! #briarandbone

Initial Impression

Day 1 at the tucson gem & mineral show. We went to the 22nd st show with 450 vendors. There are approximately 3600 vendors total here. Way overwhelming. Got a cool fluorite though!
