Sadly I don't trust Blizz to let it be an ending. And unless it's in a very long time (both IRL and in-lore), any return of Sylvanas would feel unearned and too early.

Anything short of a WC4/spin-off game or post-Worldsoul Saga would be too early. Even with good writing.

These days when I think 'Sylvanas,' I cringe. She used to be so fucking cool and interesting, and they've ruined her to the point that I both wish she got a well done come back AND that wish that we never see her again because there's no salvaging it.

I'm so split on Sylvanas. On one hand, if there's the slightest chance of restoring the character to a beloved staple of WarcraftTM through good writing, as a Forsaken stan, I'd love it. But do I trust Blizz to pull it off, let alone avoid ruining the narrative by trying? Fuck no.
