My etsy store called The McThrifty (www.etsy.com/shop/TheMcTh...) sells literary, feminist, boho & victorian punk POD items. This $ goes to me. 😉

Some of these items will also be in the e(i store (engineidling.net/store) as part of a fundraising effort. This $ goes to contribs & a 🤞future contest!

another high drama film from the garden.

"the butterfly" has about 2 full minutes of a hornet eating a swallowtail's head in slow motion, set to moonlight sonata.

so deep.

you're welcome.

here's another imovie from my short lived film career in the summer of 2020.

the goose parade!

you'll def want the sound ON.

the summer of 2020 was indeed a special time.

i'd decided to make a bizarre imovie starring my favorite sunflowers in the garden before i knocked them down, w random filters & noises from outer space!

i called it my "sunflower odyssey." it was supposed to be part of a series i never completed. 😱

like any sane person back in the summer of 2020 i followed around a dying bumblebee & made a wannabe lynchian film on imovie.

I'm in the new issue of The Soliloquist! My poem is a telephone sequence (like the game). The 1st stanza's more or less coherent but then each successive stanza starts to unravel replacing the lines w look- & sound-alike words so that we end up with something entirely different but “close enough.”

An acceptance from The Soliloquist. A telephone sequence like the game wherein the words/phrases transform into approximations of the original. Each stanza becomes more distorted/abstract. Dunno if this is an existing form but it'd be cool if I made it up. thesoliloquistmagazine.my.canva.site#home

I've got a little piece in Anomaly Poetry's Summer 2025 Rituals Issue. It's JIF!

I read @abigailmyers.bsky.social’s The Last Analog Teenagers from @stanchion.bsky.social! As an alum of the class of 2000 this collection was spot on at capturing the time esp the uncertainty of coming of age. Well done Abigail! 😁

Can’t wait for summer to begin!

Be on the lookout for my poetry microchap “rowhouse song.”

It’s about the skeletons in our closets, the wildness of girlhood, and the unthinkable.

Many thanks

My #chapbook "The TV Guide" (Alien Buddha Press '24) blurs the line between audience & player. It's got color collages, warped classic TV tropes, nods to Kelly Bundy, Dick Van Dyke, Lucy & more!

Purchase on Amazon a.co/d/dJvx94v or I'm happy to swap chapbooks with #authors!

My debut chapbook "Cold rain in Pittsburgh" is available from Bottlecap Press: bottlecap.press/products/pit... !

This project was a very long time coming & began in a poetry workshop @ the University of Pittsburgh in the mid-2000s! These poems are all very close to my heart...
