Indeed. It’s great what you are doing here. Some of the things resonate deeply with me as I grew up with Slavic folklore. Living now in a Celtic country - a huge wealth of traditions and folklore, also having been suppressed for several centuries

What I mean is that Leshy, for example, can be found as a character in modern books, and so can domovoy and some others. It’s like a second lease of life for them adapted to modern times. Others were less lucky and are being forgotten. Not in the west, in the slavic nations.

Interesting how some folklore characters are better survivors of time than others. While Leshy, domovoy, kikimora have made it into modernity, others like divyi, and others are not known widely any more…
