Back to the "which combination of layers does this weather warrant" season! 😆 I'm gonna write it down this year!

Every year I design and build a new Christmas village. This is last year's. I'm also that person who looks for Xmas items in September. It's me, hi I'm the problem it's me 👋 yes I'm already on the hunt lol my build starts in October.
Christmas village 1, ski hill to the left moves on to the town square Christmas village 2, middle of the village with many buildings, people, and snow. Christmas village 3, a large fountain can be seen in the center surrounded by a red brick road leading to houses

Very active morning today. Hawk flying through the yard started it. Refilled the feeders and was thanked immediately. Helped a Monarch butterfly warm up and get off the ground before the cat found it. Bombarded by squirrels and cardinals wanting peanuts. Now I think i can eat!
A female (or immature male, but pretty sure a female) Ruby Throated Hummingbird sits on a red feeder. Green leaves dappled with the morning sun are blurred behind her.

I found my spirit animal at the zoo today. Not sure if this is normal or boredom but I'm feeling it lol.
(They do have multiple opportunities to free fly through the zoo daily.)
A military macaw hangs upside down from the roof of his enclosure at the zoo. A small group of blue & yellow macaws are on a perch in the bottom right. Not sure if it is doing this for fun or due to boredom. They do have access to free fly through the zoo multiple times a day though.

One last item for #RunChatHunt! Little Free Library. Theres actually 3 on the 9 mile route I ran this morning. I've run 3.5 miles carrying a 350+ page book from one of these in the past. 🫠Don't recommend. 😆@therunchat.com
