"Almost Free"? Even at 71% off, the price is still $750. Don't get me wrong, that may be a good deal for this computer, but in what world is $750 considered "almost free"???

Just saw this air hockey clip on YouTube and what kind of monster holds their mallet like that?!? That's barely a grip. Half of their fingers are vulnerable to getting smacked by the puck. MADNESS!!

For those times when you absolutely, positively need to make a sale during a knife fight (or when you're in a slasher movie).

Playing through Tackle for Loss, which is being sold as Miami Hotline + Football. Although it's definitely more Miami Hotline than football, I'm digging it. It does the action right and has a twisted story, plus sports-themed upgrades.

Ended up buying Guillermo del Toro's remake of Nightmare Alley during the Criterion sale. I wasn't a huge fan of his version when it came out, but I'm curious about the B&W "Vision in Darkness and Light" recut. Maybe I'll like that version more. I hope.

Barnes & Noble's month-long 50% off Criterion sale is a go! The prices on the website have already been adjusted.

I mean, at this point, what is another Grand Theft Auto VI delay? I'm completely numb to this kind of (easily predictable) announcement.

Been catching up on the movies from the recent Criterion sale, which meant going through the 4K version of Isle of Dogs. Decided to look up the reaction back when it first came out, and good grief the discourse was toxic. So happy I didn't engage with any of that back in 2018.

Seems appropriate after the events of today.

Every single email my mother has sent me has the day as the subject line. It doesn't matter if she is inviting me for dinner or is informing me that a family member died, the subject is always "Tuesday" or "Saturday."

Remember a year ago, when Microsoft laughed off the idea of porting their games to PlayStation 5? "Oh, it's just Sea of Thieves and Hi-Fi Rush," they said, as if it was just a couple of games they didn't care about. It's funny watching that knowing that they were planning ports of Halo, Gears, etc.

Going to have my Angry Video Game Nerd 8-Bit review up in around 11 hours. I didn't care much for it, but based on the average review scores from other outlets, I feel like I'm definitely in the minority. It just didn't land with me at all.
