Why do all these "services" bear no responsibility for the content on them ? The attitude of "tell us if something is bad, illegal etc.. and we will remove it" doesn't fly in any other publishing or information provision business without consequences. It's time to make the publisher responsible.

That's actually my use case - the number of times it "helps" with nonsense negates the benefits. It has no concept of deprecated functionality and also careers off into plain - just doesn't work that way - far too often. Maybe its great on frameworks and languages that have a larger cess pool ?

but secondly because I cannot see the end game being good for anyone. It's taking internet traffic away from the sites it's learned (plagiarized?) from. These sites will disappear and all we will be left with is Prompt interfaces using datasets that get murkier and murkier by the day.

I'm starting to hate it (LLMs specifically), firstly because it spews nonsense with an air of confidence and authority that has cost me too much time on too many occasions now - as I follow a fantasy down a rabbit hole...

I have spells when I think they are amazing. Then I end up with them lying to me, and repeating the same lie over and over again - whilst agreeing that its rubbish. If they cannot tell the truth from the bs then they will eventually fail to be useful and become a hindrance. I'm close to there.
