The attention economy on artist Internet is extremely difficult to get a foothold in, or at least in my experience. So when you watch other artists get tangible success and attention the second they post something, it just makes you feel like you're doing something wrong if you don't too.

I just wish someone would see what I'm doing and tell me "you're doing better than you think".

Like. Evidently the fuck not.

I know I'm not the only one who feels like no matter how much they post or much they improve, no one ever seems to notice or care. But goddamn does it fucking suck to be in this position, only to constantly hear "ah, but your art is still good!"

How tf am I supposed to feel about getting literally zero traction from my accounts? not a single follow or membership on Patreon or Fanbox? my accounts always stagnating at 300 followers?
