It's best to avoid it altogether for your own safety and sanity. Because people leave objective and important context out and continue to publicly draw things out and lack the self-awareness to understand why people would distance themselves from someone acting like this, you're better off for it.

This is reactive abuse. Of course, a trauma victim being triggered on purpose is going to act unpredictable. Fatfurs being passive about this are almost as bad as the ones actively hiding this.
