Unfortunately, there are many readers out there who seem to think that choosing & reading a book is the same as going into a restaurant & ordering a meal. If it's not exactly to their tastes, they'll leave hateful reviews rather than objective & constructive ones. 😩

Well now, this looks familiar! 😅 As an author, it's strange to say that I can't make anything up; I have to figure it out... only I figure things out as thought I'm downloading random bits of info & trying to fit them like jigsaw puzzles pieces as they show up.

I've always known this and felt this way about all kinds of stories, whether it be in books, videogames, film/tv shows & anime. People typically just don't bother to look deeper than the entertainment value, which is a big part of the problem society/humanity has.
