The Luxembourg Government Council @gouv.lu has decided to increase the Luxembourg Armed Forces contingent in the NATO Multinational Forward Land Forces Battlegroup in Romania from 30 to a maximum of 40 soldiers next year, to strengthen our deterrence and defence posture.

Luxembourg soldiers as part of the Eurocorps will participate in the 2026/27 European Union Battlegroup. Eurocorps again assumes the role of Force Headquarters for the EU Rapid Deployment Capacity. Up to 5000 🇪🇺troops contribute to the EU's rapid reaction posture.
