also if you scale up and need to tape pieces of paper together, you can either trim the margins with a paper cutter or use a ruler to draw a line for the margins. this helps keep the edges the same length so there's no wonkiness when you go to sew.

update: this arrived and it's also very good, doubly so if you're into birdwatching. some of the anatomy notes are useful field marks and it explains how to do field drawings for i.d. purposes.

these two aren't for drawing, but the sibley book has some useful diagrams that i've referred to on a number of occasions. i also like books like the guide to the mid-atlantic coast because scientific illustration can help make sense of things like feather groups in a way photos often don't.

in addition to books, there are a number of artists who offer both free and paid resources online!

monika zagrobelna has a wide variety of tutorials and anatomy studies available. i also love deertush and crow artist.

the john muir laws website has a large archive of video lectures.
