Cal wasn’t the best hitter for average, sure. Judge plays right field and hits at yankee stadium. I’d like to see his numbers in Seattle while playing a defensive position that requires constant effort. If I was a GM and was offered Judge for Cal I wouldn’t do it. Cal offers way more value overall.

Baseball writers do better. More Mariners scars. Judge is obviously deserving but what Cal did as a catcher should have been honored.

We have wanted Julio to do something great so many times and it just hasn’t happened. It just feels like someday, in the biggest moment imaginable, he will deliver and we will forget the hundreds of times he didn’t come through . Let’s all manifest that. Otherwise this is looking real bad.

My neighbor is in his 70s and is pretty lonely and lives on a fixed income. I always take the time to chat with him and give him fresh veggies from my garden and backyard eggs from a friend. I can tell it lights up his day. I see others stop by to chat with him too. There is good out there friend.
