For some reason SwiftUI DefaultToolbarItem(kind: .search) now expands into a full search field on iOS 26.1 by default, while on 26.0 is was an icon. There should be an option to keep it as icon only. Submitted FB20868106

Kimi K2 on Groq API is crazy fast! I tried it in opencode but through OpenRouter and it was pretty slow and had problems with tools. Need to give it another go. A little video with inference speed (in @geeps.app )

I have only one issue with this - in some cases the toolbar is visible there is zero padding between the round buttons and the bottom border of the toolbar

Those who cried for legibility will probably be happy, but I think I prefer the more glassy variant. Do you think they can find some middle ground?

The reduced transparency in Control Centre in Beta 2 is very welcome, as is the menu bar background on macOS. Some pieces are still very rough though - like the Phone app which is very laggy.

YouTube urgently needs to make the Home tab responsive for iPadOS 26. It’s fixed at 2 columns when not full screen and even worse on external display. Although Subscriptions tab is much better.

I think this expanded menu is really great and should be available to set as default instead of requiring a second tap every time. Feedback submitted 🤞
