dont have it quite fixed yet but thank you thats actually crazy helpful bc i did find the update that broke it by checking steam db, so i'll see if that + the nwjs thing gets me anywhere

this is just the normal steam install, i reinstalled it from the .deb to see if that was the issue but no dice

yea thats why i was having such a hard time troubleshooting bc it SHOULD just work. not sure if the missing translation folder or whatever matter at all or if its smth else but thats the only meaningful error message i got

im running linux mint + thru steam and the native linux version doesnt launch (from the terminal mssgs i got/looking at the files i think its missing a bunch of folders for some reason), and running it through proton will open but crash when trying to create/load a project
