This is a painting of Jane Goodall from that I had her sign for my mother Jeanne in 1999, when we both saw her speak at the TED 9 conference in Monterey, CA. I spoke in a session the day before. Jane and my mother were very close in age, and she was also an iconic heroine to both of us.
